Construction has begun on the Cancer Center.

South Shore Hospital is working with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women’s Hospital to open an outpatient Cancer Center in South Weymouth that will usher in a new level of cancer care for the people of the region.

The Center is expected to welcome its first patients in 2009.
