South Shore Hospital is a subsidiary of South Shore Health and Educational Corporation, a not-for-profit, tax-exempt organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.

Members of the Board of Trustees of South Shore Health and Educational Foundation are responsible for furthering the foundation's mission of raising philanthropic support for
South Shore Hospital and its various not-for-profit programs.

South Shore Hospital's Medical Staff is responsible for providing, administering, and maintaining a high quality of medical care in the hospital.

The South Shore Health and Educational Corporation/South Shore Hospital Administrative Team is responsible for leading and directing the fulfillment of the organization's mission, vision, and values.
