South Weymouth, MA — August 30, 2011 — The Boston Business Journal has announced its 2011 Champions in Health Care award winners. South Shore Hospital has been recognized in the “employer” category, which indicates “a Massachusetts company that is doing the most to promote the health and well being of its employees through unique programs and benefits.”
The “Champions in Health Care” program is Boston Business Journal’s annual recognition of talent and dedication in the Boston area’s health care professions. South Shore Hospital was nominated by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care for its “Seasons 4 Health—Roadmap to Wellness” program, which offers a variety of health and wellness events and resources, including on-site health coaching, healthy pregnancy information stations, blood pressure screenings, healthy returns, walking program, sun damage screening; and heart-smart nutrition information.
