New facility offers exercise classes for every age, shape, size and condition

Weymouth, MA--July 12, 2013—South Shore Hospital is pleased to announce its new Center for Physical Wellness will open on Monday, July 29 at 51 Performance Drive, 3rd floor, Weymouth, in the Libbey Industrial Park.
The Center is an expansion of South Shore Hospital’s Community Exercise Program and will offer a greater variety and number of classes to improve the overall physical wellness of the community. Exercise is recommended to improve daily health and to also help relieve symptoms of many conditions. At South Shore Hospital’s Center for Physical Wellness, our specially-trained exercise physiologists lead exercise classes developed to help you build strength, flexibility and endurance.
Classes can be tailored for:
Parkinson’s, Stroke, and Multiple Sclerosis
Balance and movement issues
Pre- and post-natal patients

Our exercise physiologists, who have advanced clinical training, provide expertise with a personal approach. Whether you participate in a group or individual program, we will focus on your needs and goals to include improve physical functions and achieve sustainable wellness results.
Our Center is designed to be an inviting setting with exercise equipment for cardiovascular and resistance training and has an open area for classes. People of all ages and activity levels are welcome to our programs and classes, which provide support, and camaraderie in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.
