Nutrition

About our services

Good nutrition is an important part of cancer treatment, as well as survivorship and prevention. A healthful diet can help rebuild your body’s cells and energy level, especially if you are receiving chemotherapy or radiation treatment.

The registered dietitians (RDs) at Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center in clinical affiliation with South Shore Hospital are nutritionists with special training in oncology and integrative nutrition. Their work is based on scientifically sound nutrition therapies. Working with other members of your health care team, your nutritionist will help you design a practical eating plan to meet your individual needs with special attention to your beliefs and cultural values.

Scheduling an appointment

You can set up an individual nutrition appointment with any of the practice coordinators or by calling the administrative specialist at 781- 624-4690.
