Directions via Public Transportation
Massachusetts Bay Transportation Association (MBTA) provides round-trip bus service on Rte. 225 from Quincy Center to South Shore Hospital, Columbian Square and 780 Main Street.
MBTA buses make ten round trips each day.
The fare is $1.25 from Quincy Center. Four convenient pick-up/drop-off sites are situated around South Shore Hospital.
Bus stops around South Shore Hospital are well-marked with Rte. 225 MBTA signs and positioned as follows:

Across from 85 Columbian Street between the Columbian Street entrance and the linen delivery entrance

Opposite 41 Columbian Street (the apartment building) by the South parking lot

On Route 18 in front of South Shore Hospital at the steps adjacent to the outpatient pool building, near the outpatient entrance to the left of the main entrance

In front of 780 Main Street at the steps to the parking lot.
