South Shore Hospital’s EMS telecommunications dispatchers employ a wide range of skills and technological assets to provide the best service to patients in need. They are trained in Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) coordination and can communicate with Fire, Police and EMS agencies across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Their main tool for communication is the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system.
