South Shore Hospital has launched our most ambitious campaign yet to meet the comprehensive health needs of every patient. Our goal in this campaign is to raise at least $40 million for patient care programs and facilities.
The funds we raise through The Campaign for Healing, Caring and Comforting will help our patients:
Dramatically expand comprehensive cancer care programs, bringing an unprecedented level of medical staff, facilities and services close to home.
Create a new outpatient center of care featuring a full range of orthopedic services including onsite surgery, diagnostic imaging and pain management.
Expand our inpatient care program, adding 60 private rooms and additional treatment space to our existing Emerson Building.
Expand the depth and scope of our Visiting Nurse and Hospice programs.
Provide unrestricted support to help wherever future needs are greatest.
Bring hope to cancer patients
South Shore Hospital Charitable Foundation
The South Shore Hospital Charitable Foundation generates philanthropic support for South Shore Hospital and its home health care programs: South Shore Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice of the South Shore.
South Shore Hospital has a reputation for excellence, whether providing care in the hospital, in the home, or in the community. Excellence in health care depends on the philanthropic spirit of individuals, businesses, and foundations.
South Shore Hospital provides medical care to anyone who needs our services, regardless of ability to pay. That is why donations are so important: they bridge the gap between the medical care people need and what they can afford.
Members of the Board of Trustees of the South Shore Hospital Charitable Foundation are responsible for furthering the foundation's mission of raising philanthropic support for South Shore Hospital and its various not-for-profit programs.
