Ears Nose & Throat (ENT)
South Shore Hospital’s ENT surgical team works with patients of all ages, providing the latest surgical techniques. Our board-certified ENT surgeons are ready to treat routine and complicated procedures with the goal of maximizing successful outcomes.
At South Shore Hospital, the following procedures are routinely performed on both children and adults:
- Ear Surgery – many of these procedures are performed to address hearing impairment and hearing loss. Common procedures include stapedectomy, tympanoplasty, and cochlear implants.
- Nose or Nasal Surgery –typically to correct sinus problems, including chronic congestion. At times nose surgery is also an option for deviated septums.
- Throat Surgery – In most cases, throat surgery helps correct conditions that affect the body's immune system, including removal of the tonsils.
