Look no further than the nurses at UMass Memorial Medical Center who fell for the MNA's promises about staffing ratios when they voted for the MNA in 2001. Eleven years later, they found themselves picketing for 12 days this past December protesting staffing levels — the very thing the MNA promised to fix in 2001.
