5th Annual Hoedown for Hospice Raises $16,000

The Hoedown for Hospice raised nearly $16,000 for Hospice of the South Shore.  Thank you to the 300 participants, The Friends of Hospice and the Mary Vacca Band, who donated the evening’s entertainment.

Call Margie Kirby-Light at (781) 340-1728 or Membership Services at (781) 340-4170 if you would like to volunteer for next year's event on Friday, October 17.

All proceeds benefit Hospice of the South Shore

Hospice of the South Shore cares for people nearing the end of life; making patients more comfortable and alert so that they may live as fully as possible.  Hospice also cares for family members who are losing a loved one: they are taught how to comfort and nurture the patient, and each other. Hospice offers bereavement counseling for children, parents, and friends. Hospice of the South Shore is a program of South Shore Hospital.
