Employee Fund Campaign

South Shore Hospital colleagues have a chance to advance our mission of healing, caring and comforting by contributing to the The Sailing with Hope Employee Fund Campaign. The campaign supports Journey of Hope, a major fundraising effort to expand comprehensive cancer care at South Shore Hospital. 

All gifts are greatly appreciated and support patient care programs at South Shore Hospital.  The process is simple.  Colleagues can make a one-time gift or make a pledge payable over a period of years through payroll deduction.  For example, just $5 a pay period equals a nearly $400 donation over three years.

South Shore Hospital’s last employee campaign raised over $535,000 for patient care programs.  In addition, fifteen percent of colleague gifts support the Generous Hearts Emergency Fund, which has granted more than $35,000 to our colleagues in need.

Sailing with Hope is sponsored by the Community Colleague Connection Team, and is chaired by Donna Hawkesworth, manager of nutrition and food services.
