Jessica Wilson, CNM, MSN earned her nursing degree from Columbia University, followed by a master’s degree in midwifery.
Jessie didn’t take a traditional route to become a midwife. Instead, after receiving her first bachelor’s degree in psychology from Boston University, she had a life-changing experience while assisting her distressed dog deliver a litter of puppies. It was through that experience that Jessie became deeply inspired to pursue a career in midwifery.
Today, Jessie passionately enjoys sharing her expertise with expectant mothers and families each day—empowering them to play an active role in their health care and birthing experience. Jessie is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives, and is a certified nurse midwife/laborist at South Shore Hospital. She also sees patient at Crown OB/GYN in Quincy.
Currently residing on the South Shore, Jessie enjoys spending time with her precious baby girl and family, and can often be found on long walks with her daughter strapped to her chest and her dog Sam, one of the puppies she helped deliver 8 years ago.
