Special notes and gifts can help brighten a hospital stay, and South Shore Hospital strives to deliver mail as quickly and accurately as possible to our patients.

eGreeting Card

The recipient of eGreeting messages must currently be an in-patient at South Shore Hospital.  Please be aware that all emails are printed out and hand-delivered to patients on a daily basis.  To assure patients' privacy, please do not include confidential patient information in the email.  Messages must include the patient’s first and last name in order to be delivered.

If you wish to send a letter to a friend or family member who is currently an inpatient at South Shore Hospital, please provide as much information as possible when addressing the envelope, including the full name the patient used to check in.  Please avoid nicknames. Use the following example as a guide:
