Hospice of the South Shore provides bereavement programs designed to meet different needs and stages of loss.
A variety of programs, workshops, and group support offer many ways to help individuals through the bereavement process:

South Shore School Partnership for Health
A program of South Shore Hospital, the Partnership is dedicated to assisting the region's public, parochial, and independent schools in developing solutions to effectively address their pressing health care concerns. The Partnership:
- Validates the importance of health promotion in the community.
- Serves to improve the learning environment of school-age children.
- Increases the practice of positive health behaviors in families.
- Increases the development and awareness of available health resources.

Adolescent Suicide Prevention Project
A program of South Shore Hospital's School Partnership for Health, this project's mission is to prevent adolescent suicide through early intervention and educational outreach to teens, parents, educators, and law enforcement and health professionals. This program:
- Provides training and support for teens using a peer-education model.
- Developes parent training programs to facilitate better understanding of adolescent development.
- Provides training programs for administrators, teachers, coaches, and counselors.
- Enhances the community through educational programs.
