The maternity center at South Shore Hospital offers extensive educational programs and support services for breastfeeding mothers:
- Prenatal breastfeeding classes
- In-hospital breastfeeding classes
- One-to-one lactation care and support during your hospital stay with our lactation consultant and counselors
- A “warm line” — phone support for breastfeeding mothers. Call 781-340-8602.
- Follow-up care in our Lactation Clinic
- An ongoing breastfeeding support group meets Monday-Friday, 1-2 p.m. Registration is not required. Call 781-340-8332 for more information.
