South Shore Hospital offers support and resources to women and families who have experienced a pregnancy loss through:
- Miscarriage
- Ectopic pregnancy
- Molar pregnancy
- Stillbirth
- Infant death
Nurses specializing in obstetrical and gynecological care - and who also hold advanced practice degrees in psychology - facilitate monthly pregnancy-loss support groups and are also available for individual consultation. We're committed to an empathetic, caring approach to pregnancy loss for the entire family.

Support Groups
Pregnancy Loss Support Group
Support group for women and their partners who have experienced a loss at any gestational age. Group is facilitated by an experienced OB/GYN RN with advanced practice degrees in psychology. No registration. No Fee.
Meets the first and third Wednesday of the month, 7-8:15 p.m.

Pregnancy after Loss Support Group
Support group for women and their partners who have experienced a pregnancy loss and are again expecting. Topics concerning your previous pregnancy and coping skills to make this pregnancy enjoyable will be discussed. No fee.
Meets the second Wednesday of the month, 7-8:15 p.m.
