Outpatient Center for
Orthopedic Care and Pain Management
to Anchor New A.W. Perry building
South Weymouth, May 19, 2010– South Shore Hospital and South Shore Orthopedics, LLC are pleased to announce their plans to open a comprehensive outpatient center for musculoskeletal care and pain management in Hingham in 2011.
The 50,000 square foot outpatient center will be in a 75,000 square foot building to be developed and owned by A.W. Perry Company. The building will be located inside South Shore Park at 2 Pond Park Rd. just off Derby Street adjacent Route 3 at Exit 15. South Shore Orthopedics services will be located on the first floor; South Shore Hospital services will be on the first and second floor, and the third floor of the building will be leased by the developer to other medical service providers.
The new center will offer a level of musculoskeletal care currently unavailable in the region. Patients will benefit from a full range of outpatient services to diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions. Our physicians specialize in sports medicine, joint replacement, hand surgery, and shoulder and knee reconstruction. In addition, our highly regarded pain management program and some diagnostic imaging services will relocate to the new center.
