Marian Gilmore, RN, OCN, nurse navigator, is a member of the health care team who helps patients “navigate” the health care system and receive timely care. Marian works with patients to identify and remove barriers to effective care by coordinating services, and helping to improve patient access and quality of care. Marian connects patients to the resources they may need, such as financial assistance, counseling, language translation or transportation.
