Patient & Family Advisory Council

The formation of our Patient Family Advisory Council (PFAC) is the cornerstone of our commitment to Patient and Family Centered Care (PFCC). Our PFAC brings together patients, their families and South Shore Hospital administrators, physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals. The Council draws upon the valuable knowledge and experience of its members to help guide our PFCC approach. Our PFAC assists in the development of new services and programs, in finding solutions to problems or challenges and in identifying ways that South Shore Hospital can improve the hospital and home care experience for our patients, their families and our colleagues.
