patient with therapistOur Inpatient Rehabilitation Program offers comprehensive, individualized services designed for hospitalized patients who need to gain greater independence in daily activities following illness, injury, or surgery. Inpatient rehabilitation provides occupational, physical, and speech therapy services to patients throughout the hospital, including our intensive care units, neonatal intensive care unit, pediatric unit, infant and maternal health unit, as well as all medical/surgical units.

We help patients reach their highest level of function within the hospital setting. Patients are seen early in their stay, often in the emergency department or in the recovery room following surgery. The team works with each patient to plan the most appropriate and safest discharge possible.

The rehabilitation staff includes Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists, and Rehabilitation Aides. In the past year, our rehabilitation team has made over 32,000 visits to hospitalized patients.
