Advisory Boards
Youth Health Connection is governed by five advisory boards which meet regularly through the academic school year. These advisory boards represent a core element of coalition building and provide connection and linkage to the adults in the lives of children and families. Advisory Boards exist for the following:
School and Community Programs
Youth Health Connection recognizes the importance of evidence based practice in the health and education field, connecting students and trusted adults and providing education. The following components are recommended and provided:

Advisory Groups/School or Families in High Schools and Middle Schools

Annual Gatekeeper training for school administrators, educators & parents. Youth Health Connection uses the program “Typical or Troubled” from the American Psychiatric Foundation.
